A bit of Japan’s past living in the time of the present, Juubei is your living epitome of ‘old-fashioned’ samurai culture. The way he chooses words and emotions to express himself are very traditional of the upper-class, rarely letting how he truly feels at heart to shine through the stoic mask he shows the world. A straight-arrow or tight-laced might be another thing you’d coin to him; though he isn’t very easy to ruffle, given the right badgering he would definitely see to it that you earned a piece of his mind. Unfortunately though, Juubei tragically has no sense of humor. It’s not to say that he doesn’t like riddles and rhymes, rather, people tell him jokes and he just can’t begin to understand them. This coincides directly with the fact that no matter how you try to manipulate his judgment (whether seriously or through stated-opinion) Juubei holds tight to his beliefs; Obediently strict to those whose purpose he deems to be worthy, fighting for the cause until either the goal is met or his end has come.
